The Pagani Huayra R Evo Roadster track-only Hypercar will be one of the star attractions of the 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, driven by Pagani test and development driver and former Formula 1 racer Andrea Montermini. The car is being provided by the van Diemen Family Collection.

The Huayra R Evo Roadster is an extreme track-only open-top Hypercar, an evolution of the Huayra R, that borned from a four-year dialogue exchange with customers during the arte in pista program, combined with a reimagined design, and over 600 dedicated components were developed.

Equipped with the most modern technology derived from the racing world, the new Pagani V12-R Evo engine delivers 900 hp (662 kW) at 8,750 rpm with a maximum torque of 770 Nm, which is directly available from 5,800 to 8,200 rpm. The Huayra R Evo Roadster offers great track performance with an enhanced redline at 9,200 rpm.

With the new open-top design, the car generates downforce exceeding its own weight, resulting in 45% more downforce than the Huayra R. The open-roof configuration also adds an additional 5% vertical load.

Pagani Automobili, the Italian manufacturer specialising in high-performance hypercars, is naming-rights sponsor of the Adelaide Motorsport Festival’s official VIP suite, the Pagani VIP Suite.

The Huayra R Evo Roadster will be on track in the Hypercars category at the 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, with Pagani development and test driver Montermini behind the wheel.

The Italian raced in Formula 1 across three seasons from 1994 to 1996, including at the last Australian Grand Prix in Adelaide in 1995. Montermini joins other Formula 1 drivers at the 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, including Mika Häkkinen, David Coulthard, Valtteri Bottas, Thierry Boutsen, Stefan Johansson and Martin Donnelly.

The 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival will once again feature various categories, ranging from Formula 1 cars, V8 Supercars, sportscars, touring cars, motorbikes, drift cars and more with the action non-stop without a break in track activity at any stage of the day. Off track there will be car displays, kids' zones, bars and food trucks, exhibitors and traders, activations and more, in a picnic in the park setting.
