Josh Buchan wins Ten of the Best Shootout

Three-time TCR Australia champion Josh Buchan took honours in the 'Ten of the Best' session at the 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, claiming the fastest time in a Ferrari Challenge 296.

Buchan was the only driver to lap under 50 seconds with a 49.06, ahead of Jordan Ormsby in a Porsche GT3R with Alex Rullo in a Porsche 992 Cup R-GT.

The session was in the wet conditions, mixing up the pack and catching out a number of entrants.

The field included Jonathon Webb in his 2016 Bathurst-wining Holden VF Commodore and local Max Vidau in his current-spec Porsche 911 (992) GT3 Cup car.

Other entrants in the session included Scott Bormann Ligier JS P325 LMP3, Dan Day in a Subaru STI Spec C and Bathurst podium finisher David Russell Lamborghini Temerario.
