Iconic Bathurst duo reunited at the 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival

The pair of Triple Eight Race Engineering Holden VE Commodores that achieved a one-two formation finish at the 2010 Bathurst 1000 will be reunited and back on track at the 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.

Triple Eight Race Engineering became just the third team in Bathurst 500/1000 history to complete a one-two formation finish at Mount Panorama, with Craig Lowndes leading Jamie Whincup across the line. It gave victory to Supercars greats Lowndes and Mark Skaife, ahead of their teammates Whincup and Steve Owen. What made the achievement even more impressive was the fact it was Triple Eight's first season running Holdens, following a switch from Fords.

The Holden VE Commodores, restored in their original Vodafone liveries by Eggleston Motorsport, will be brought to the Adelaide Motorsport Festival for a special demonstration, culminating in a re-enactment of the formation finish across both days on February 28 and March 1.

The 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival will once again feature various categories, ranging from Formula 1 cars, V8 Supercars, sportscars, touring cars, motorbikes, drift cars and more with the action non-stop without a break in track activity at any stage of the day. Off track there will be car displays, kids' zones, bars and food trucks, exhibitors and traders, activations and more, in a picnic in the park setting.
