Supercars legends Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup will be back behind the wheel of their Vodafone Holden VE Commodores at the 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, recreating their iconic formation finish from the 2010 Bathurst 1000.

Lowndes and Whincup drove the #888 and #1 respectively in Triple Eight Race Engineering’s one-two formation finish at the 2010 Bathurst 1000. Triple Eight became just the third team in Bathurst 500/1000 history to complete a one-two formation finish at Mount Panorama, with Lowndes leading Whincup across the line.

The Holden VE Commodores, restored in their original Vodafone liveries by car owners Eggleston Motorsport, will be brought to the Adelaide Motorsport Festival for a special demonstration on Saturday February 28, culminating in a re-enactment of the formation finish with Lowndes and Whincup driving their respective cars.

Lowndes will also drive an Arrows A10B Formula 1 car at the 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival. The A10B was raced by Eddie Cheever across the 1988 Formula 1 season. It will be Whincup’s Adelaide Motorsport Festival debut. The pair will also relive the 2010 one-two formation finish in the Adelaide Marriott Grand Marquee.

The 2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival will once again feature various categories, ranging from Formula 1 cars, V8 Supercars, sportscars, touring cars, motorbikes, drift cars and more with the action non-stop without a break in track activity at any stage of the day. Off track there will be car displays, kids' zones, bars and food trucks, exhibitors and traders, activations and more, in a picnic in the park setting.
