Zero Petroleum to fuel Rodin FZED at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival

Zero Petroleum, the leading producer of carbon-neutral synthetic fuel made from just air and water, will showcase its revolutionary synthetic fuel at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival on Sunday March 9, powering the ultimate track car, the Rodin FZED.

After showcasing its breakthrough energy solution at the Adelaide Motorsport Festival in 2024, fuelling a Honda CB1100R motorbike, Zero Petroleum initiated a feasibility study of an aviation fuel production capability in Whyalla, South Australia, and will return to the Adelaide Motorsport Festival in 2025.

Zero Petroleum’s CEO Paddy Lowe will be attending the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival. Lowe’s Formula 1 career spanned 32 years, playing a major role in 12 world championships and 158 race wins.

Zero Petroleum has applied the same mindset that led to success on the track into the creation of 100 percent fossil-free, drop-in synthetic fuels that deliver superior performance in motorbikes, cars and beyond. The Rodin FZED provides another case study for Zero Petroleum’s versatile synthetic fuel. The FZED is derived from the T125, a near-Formula 1-spec single seater. New Zealand manufacturer Rodin Cars developed the FZED, forming a partnership with Zagame Automotive to bring the car to Australia. The FZED uses a 3.8-litre Cosworth V8 making 675BHP at 9600RPM, a level of performance that rivals modern era grand prix cars.

The 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival will once again feature various categories, ranging from Formula 1 cars, V8 Supercars, sportscars, touring cars, motorbikes and more with the action non-stop without a break in track activity at any stage of the day. Off track there will be car displays, kids' zones, bars and food trucks, exhibitors and traders, activations and more, in a picnic in the park setting.
