Finnish Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas drove the Adelaide-built Brabham BT62 high-performance sportscar at the 2024 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.
Joining the field in the Invitational category, Bottas got to experience the BT62 that is powered by a mid-mounted 5.4-litre naturally-aspirated V8 engine, producing over 700 horsepower at 7200RPM.
Only a handful of BT62s were made under the Brabham Automotive banner in Adelaide between 2018 and 2024. The BT62 broke lap records across Australia and has been raced in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
