Johansson is an Adelaide Motorsport Festival ambassador and regular at the event. The Swede made 79 starts in Formula 1 for teams such as McLaren, Ferrari and more, going on to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans for Porsche in 1997. He also raced the Mazda 787 and Mazda 787B at the 1990 and 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans respectively, with the 767B the forerunner to the Le Mans-winning 787B.

The 767B is powered by a quad-rotor 2.6-litre rotary engine, producing 630 horsepower at 9000RPM, with a new straight out exhaust system fitted in time for the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival to make it even louder.

There were just three Mazda 767Bs built by Mazdaspeed. The 767B coming to the Adelaide Motorsport Festival is arriving from Japan courtesy of owner and driver Senji Hoshino, who will share driving duties of the 767B with Johansson at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.

Johansson will also be bringing a collection of his art to the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, which will be on display in the Pagani VIP Suite and Club Zagame villas over the course of the event.

The 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival will once again feature various categories, ranging from Formula 1 cars, V8 Supercars, sportscars, touring cars, motorbikes and more with the action non-stop without a break in track activity at any stage of the day. Off track there will be car displays, kids' zones, bars and food trucks, exhibitors and traders, activations and more, in a picnic in the park setting.

Tickets are on sale now with weekend tickets and single-day tickets available, in addition to tickets to the Toyota Gazoo Racing Garden and Pagani VIP Suite hospitality offerings.
