“It’s the sound” is the mantra for the 2024 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival on March 15 to 17.
Celebrating the glory days of motorsport, the sound of star cars will be a core attraction of the 2024 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival. The mantra will tap into people's emotive response to the sounds of motorsport.
Cars and motorbikes that will be celebrated under the “It’s the sound” mantra include the rotary-powered Mazda 767B sportscar; grand prix cars from the V8 and V10 era of Formula 1; turbo-charged and V8-powered Bathurst-winning cars such as the Nissan Skyline GT-R R32s and various Holden Commodore V8s; invitational cars such as the Lanica Beta Montecarlo Turbo Group 5 sportscar and Mercedes-Benz 190E DTM Group A touring car; motorcycle grand prix bikes such as the Yamaha YZR 500cc and Aprilia ART GP13; and more still to be confirmed.
Held the week prior to the Australian Grand Prix, the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival is a museum in motion, displaying historic, rare and significant racing vehicles on the Victoria Park section of the Adelaide Street Circuit.
Categories featuring Formula 1, V8 Supercars, Group C and A touring cars, sportscars and more will feature over the course of the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, in addition to on-track demonstrations, off-track displays, villas and more.
