F1 world champion Damon Hill attending the 2024 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival

The last winner of the Australian Grand Prix in Adelaide in 1995 and Formula 1 world champion of 1996 Damon Hill will be attending the 2024 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.

Twenty-nine years after he crossed the line to win the final grand prix in Adelaide, Hill will return to the Adelaide Street Circuit across both days of the 2024 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival on March 16 and 17.

Hill will be appearing in the Grand Marquee, sharing his reflections on his career and Formula 1 and meeting fans in a signing session. Hill will be hosted in the Pagani VIP Suite, the 2024 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival’s official VIP space, where you can rub shoulders with celebrities, motorsport stars, VIPs and more, with all-day dining and various food and wine options. The British star made 115 grand prix starts for Brabham, Williams, Arrows and Jordan in Formula 1 from 1992 to 1999, winning 22 races and the world championship with Williams in 1996. He raced in Adelaide on three occasions with one win (1995) and two podiums, going head-to- head with Michael Schumacher in a championship showdown in Adelaide in 1994.

Hill is a key member of the Sky Sports F1 commentary team and will be joining colleague David Croft at the 2024 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, alongside other Formula 1 personalities including Valtteri Bottas and Guenther Steiner with more still to be announced. 

Held the week prior to the Australian Grand Prix, the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival is a museum in motion, displaying historic, rare and significant racing vehicles on the Victoria Park section of the Adelaide Street Circuit. Categories featuring Formula 1, V8 Supercars, Group C and A touring cars, sportscars and more will feature over the course of the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, in addition to on-track demonstrations, off-track displays, villas and more.\
