One of the first Arrows Formula 1 cars, a 1979 Arrows A1B Cosworth V8, is the latest Formula 1 car confirmed for the 2024 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival on March 16 and 17.

The Arrows A1B Cosworth V8 was driven by future grand prix winner Riccardo Patrese over the course of the 1979 Formula 1 season, including at the likes of the South African, Monaco, Spanish, USA and Belgian Grand Prix with a fifth-place finish at the latter.

The Arrows is powered by a Cosworth DFV V8, producing 500 horsepower at 10,750RPM, and features a distinctive gold and black livery of main sponsor Warsteiner.

Held the week prior to the Australian Grand Prix, the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival is a museum in motion, displaying historic, rare and significant racing vehicles on the Victoria Park section of the Adelaide Street Circuit.

Categories featuring Formula 1, V8 Supercars, Group C and A touring cars, sportscars and more will feature over the course of the Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, in addition to on-track demonstrations, off-track displays, villas and more.
